“To conserve and protect Arizona’s natural resources by providing a state-level organization that emphasizes an integrated management approach to address invasive or pest plants.”

The Southwest Vegetation Management Association (SWVMA) was organized in 1997 to increase awareness about invasive vegetation and foster cooperation between vegetation managers.

Abstracts for posters or presentations at the annual meeting are due September 19, 2016. Details are available on the meeting page.

Proposals for the new Invasive Plant Grant Program are being accepted through September 23, 2016. Details are available here.

Elections for Vice President, Treasurer, and 2 board members at large will be held at the annual meeting. Details are available on the meeting information page.

A limited number of 2016 Annual Meeting Scholarships covering registration costs will be offered. Applications are due Oct. 7. Details are available on the meeting information page.
