Our Mission
SWVMA brings together land managers, agencies, researchers, educators, and industry partners to promote integrated vegetation management across Arizona. Since 1997, we’ve worked to increase awareness of invasive plants while encouraging cooperation, education, and practical solutions.

Annual Training
Our annual training events bring vegetation professionals together to share practical management techniques, research, field experience, and emerging strategies for invasive plant management. It’s one of Arizona’s best opportunities to learn from experts, earn training, and build professional connections.
Invasive Plant Species Index
Learn to identify Arizona’s most significant invasive plants and understand why they matter. Each species profile includes photos, descriptions, impacts, and management information to support better decisions in the field.

SWVMA Grants Program:
SWVMA provides small grants that support invasive plant management projects, research, education, and collaborative efforts throughout Arizona. Funding comes from conference proceeds and generous donor support.
